(KSL News) A Kentucky man could serve up to six years in prison for crimes related to the death of a Utah woman.
Eighteen-year-old Connie Blount was struck and killed by a truck driven by 37-year-old Shannon Houser last April. He was charged with leaving the scene of an accident and attempting to tamper with evidence.
Lawyers for Houser claimed it was raining on the day of the crash and that he did not know he had struck Blount.
A jury rejected that premise and convicted him. He will be sentenced next month.
