More information is coming out about a home invasion in Provo on Monday. Investigators now say it appears to have been over a paintball gun.
Dale Godfrey says he's never used one before, and that's why he was completely surprised when two men barged in his apartment demanding a paintball gun back.
"I don't know if he's just got a vendetta against me, or if his paintball gun is really missing, or what," said Godfrey.
He says things just went downhill when he kept saying he didn't have a paintball gun.
"And that's when he pulled the gun out and started pushing, getting me back towards my bedroom," said Godfrey. "As we were walking back there, he punched me in the back of the head."
Police soon arrived and the two men tried to run but were arrested. But now investigators and the neighbors are wondering if there's more to the story, or if it really was just a over a paintball gun.
