(KSL News) -- Utah FBI officers arrested a former University of Utah professor for possession of child pornography.
Dr. William Zwiebel worked as a professor of Radiology at the University. The FBI discovered several hundreds of pornographic pictures and videos involving underage children on Zwiebel's university computer.
Patrick Kiernan, Salt Lake City FBI: "Sometimes we see in those type cases people go from just looking at the pictures to wanting to engage in the activity, and that's our concern."
Zwiebel was placed on administrative leave, then resigned from the U. If convicted he faces a maximum of ten years in prison.
