WEST HAVEN, Weber County — The Weber County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of a 12-year-old child in West Haven Tuesday.
About 2:30 p.m., deputies responded to a "medical call" involving a 12-year-old and assisted family members with CPR on the child until emergency medical personnel arrived.
The child was transported to a hospital but died, the sheriff's office said in a statement. The child's identity has not been released.
Investigators are now working to determine the cause of death.
