SALT LAKE CITY — Police say a 12-year-old boy who went missing earlier this week has been located and is safe.

On Monday, Salt Lake police asked the public to help them find Dante Miller, who had gone missing on Sunday. Police said he has autism and "has a history of getting lost."

School resource officers located Dante on Wednesday, though details about where he was were not provided by police. The officers are working with his family to create a safety plan for the future.
