GARRISON, Millard County — A man was killed after the vehicle he was driving left the road and rolled Wednesday.
Troopers said the driver, a man from Canada, was traveling west on state Route 21 around 5 miles from the Utah-Nevada border in a 2016 Jeep Wrangler when the vehicle drifted off the right edge of the road. The man overcorrected, and the Jeep left the road to the right and rolled several times before coming to a stop in a large culvert.
The man suffered serious injuries and died at the scene, troopers said.
Because of the location, the Jeep was not easily visible from the roadway and was not immediately discovered. Investigators said the crash occurred sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. Wednesday, but they are still working to determine the exact time.
The identity of the driver has not been released and more information was not provided.
