Officers received a call about a fight in progress at 3918 S. 1845 West around 2:56 a.m. on Monday. Police arrived and found one man who had been stabbed in the abdomen, said West Valley Police Sgt. Andrew Geyerman.

The man was taken to the hospital but is expected to survive, Geyerman said.
