OREM — Five people are in custody and at least three people received minor injuries after multiple shots were fired at the Midtown 360 apartment complex in Orem on Saturday morning, police said.
At 1:11 a.m. Saturday, Orem and Provo police, the Utah County Sheriff's Office and Metro SWAT officers responded to 360 S. State in Orem following report of several shots being fired.
Police say more than 10 rounds were fired, hitting one vehicle and at least three victims.
Orem Police Lt. Nick Thomas said none of the injuries were considered to be life-threatening. One victim has already been discharged from Timpanogos Regional Hospital after being treated for minor injuries.
A witness told KSL-TV it sounded like there were 20 to 24 rounds fired, a van's windows were shot out and there was blood in the elevator.
"There are no outstanding suspects right now," Thomas said.
Police say the investigations division is still processing the scene and more information will be released Monday.
