ROSETTE, Box Elder County — A man was killed after the semitruck he was driving rolled in Box Elder County, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

The truck was traveling west on state Route 30 between Rosette and Lucin in western Box Elder County just after 6 p.m., according to Sgt. Cameron Roden.

The driver drifted off to the right side of the road, then overcorrected to the left. The semitruck rolled completely over, blocking all lanes with the load.

Roden said the top of the truck was partially ripped open, ejecting the driver, who died at the scene.

The road remained closed as of 10:30 p.m., and Roden said it would likely remain so for around another hour.

Troopers have not yet identified the man.
