Many of us likely have childhood memories of a mom, dad, or another loved one changing their hairstyle, or otherwise altering their appearance, in a way that can only be described as jarring to a kid.
I remember the first time in my life my dad decided to shave his mustache — when I was about 10 — before a Disneyland trip. As we walked around the Happiest Place on Earth, I kept thinking: "Who is that strange man following us around?"
A hilarious YouTube video captures that feeling perfectly as a baby girl finds herself on the lap of someone she doesn't recognize.
The toddler seems to know her grandpa as a baseball cap-wearer, so when her family catches her attention and gets her to look back at her grandpa — who takes off his hat while she looks away — she breaks into tears.
That would be scary to be sitting on your grandpa's lap one minute and a complete bare-headed stranger's the next. Poor baby.
Luckily, she's young enough that she probably won't be too traumatized by the incident.
