SALT LAKE CITY — Police have identified an Ogden man killed Saturday in a wrong-way crash on the Mountain View Corridor.

Michael A. Jordan, 29, drove a Kia Rio into oncoming traffic and collided with Volkswagen Golf near 6855 South, according to Unified police.

Jordan was pronounced dead at the scene. A 53-year-old man driving the other car was taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not considered to be life-threatening.

The investigation into why the Kia was headed the wrong way remained ongoing Tuesday.

The crash was one of four over the weekend on Utah's roads involving drivers going the wrong way, resulting in the deaths of three people.
