MAGNA — A woman died and another was transported with minor injuries after a rollover crash early Saturday, according to the Utah Highway Patrol.

At about 1:37 a.m. a Subura Legacy was eastbound on state Route 201 near Magna when the vehicle ran off the roadway to the right, according to highway patrol. The vehicle began to roll and a passenger was ejected from the vehicle.

The passenger was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene of her injuries UHP said.

The driver was transported to Intermountain Medical Center with minor injuries. Alcohol impairment is suspected with the driver, according to officials.

The crash is under investigation with assistance from the Major Crash Investigation Team and the State Bureau of Investigations.

The identities of those involved were not released.
