TOOELE — One man died Saturday when police say he hit a parked vehicle in Tooele.

The 29-year-old man was southbound driving a Toyota Yaris on Droubay Road on the east side of Tooele when he swerved for an unknown reason and hit the back of a parked semitrailer about 11:15 a.m., according to Tooele Police Sgt. Rob Benson.

A passing motorist stopped to help the unresponsive man and started CPR until first responders arrived and continued life-saving efforts for about an hour. The man died on scene from his injuries, Benson said.

Police have not yet released the man's identity.
