MIDVALE — After a regular season unlike any other due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Utah High School Activities Association unveiled the bracket for its top three classifications Saturday morning.

The opening rounds in Class 4A, 5A and 6A will all be played at home sites through the tournament. The 4A quarterfinals, semifinals and finals will be held March 2-3 at the Sevier Valley Center in Richfield, while Salt Lake Community College will host the semifinals and finals March 4-6 in 5A and 6A.

CLASS 6A

The top eight seeds captured a first-round bye, including No. 1 seed Westlake, which enters the tournament at 18-3. Region 4 swept the top-four spots, including Pleasant Grove, Corner Canyon and American Fork, followed by Bingham, Skyridge, Davis and Copper Hills.

CLASS 5A

Led by BYU signee Jake Wahlin, returning state runner-up Timpview clinched the No. 1 overall seed with 20-3 record. The Thunderbirds, along with No. 2 Olympus (20-2) and No. 3 Lehi (13-8) clinched first-round byes.
