SPRINGDALE — Park rangers at Zion National Park located a body on Friday while searching for an overdue male hiker, according to park officials.

The body was located below the Angels Landing hiking route, according to a news release from National Park Service. The rangers were looking for an overdue male hiker from Thursday. The body found was also male.

The identity of the man has not yet been confirmed.

Further information was not released Friday.
