Resources "mopping up" what is left of the Richard Mountain Fire

Daggett County Sheriff's Office officials said the Richard Mountian fire has not had any perimeter growth and is now 90% contained.

Resources are now "mopping up," or removing burning material near control lines, around the control lines. They are also felling snags and trenching logs to prevent rolling through a burned area.

Crews and resources were able to gain 90% containment of the perimeter of the #RichardMountainFire today. Holding at 7,632 acres, the Incident Commander is expecting full containment soon. There are still 142 personnel assigned to the fire. @BLMWyoming @BLMUtah @DaggettCounty

Fire crews hike to third abandoned campfire near Upper Provo Wildfire

This morning we reported a third abandoned campfire in the vicinity of the #UpperProvoWildfire. Crews had to hike two miles in to Marjorie Lake, investigate and extinguish the fire, and then hike out. #SparkChange pic.twitter.com/K8S0cLDss6

Evacuations still in place from Parleys Fire

State and local fire officials reported through Utah Fire Info that there is no timeline on when evacuations will be lifted. Officials say the situation is continuously being evaluated.The Parleys Fire is currently 35% contained with no new growth.
