(KSL News) Holiday travel has been down this year, and a big reason is the bad economy. Instead of spending money to leave home, though, many spent their money on Christmas gifts.
New figures show post-holiday sales were up three percent over last year. Those numbers could go even higher tomorrow, on Cyber Monday, the symbolic start to the online holiday shopping season.
Suzanne Choney, an MSNBC Web expert, said, "The first thing to do is to start with some online shopping comparison sites that can help make it a lot easier."
Experts say comparing prices online is as important as comparing them in regular stores.
