(KSL News) -- A Brigham City woman has pleaded guilty to killing her husband back in May.
Vicki Marie Ruiz caught her husband with another woman that night, after the couple had hosted a party.
Ruiz called 9-1-1 and indicated to a dispatcher that she'd shot her husband.
The defense says Ruiz only intended to frighten her husband. With the plea, Ruiz will be charged with second degree felony manslaughter and the first degree murder charge will be dropped.
Ruiz is scheduled to be sentenced November 21st.
