SALT LAKE CITY — A teenager and her 3-year-old daughter who have been missing since last week were found safe Tuesday, police say.

Eugenia Martinez-Juarez, 17, and her daughter Sandra Juarez-Martinez, 3, "returned home safe," the Salt Lake City Police Department posted on Twitter.

The pair were last seen on Thursday walking on a street in Salt Lake City to go job searching for Eugenia. A missing advisory was issued on Friday.

"Thank you for all of the attention and tips," the Salt Lake police said on Twitter. "We will be talking with the young ladies to find out where they ... spent the last couple days."
