SNOWBIRD — After 190 days of winter operation, Thursday was the final day of the 2018-19 ski season at the resort.
John Ostrowski, his wife, Kristi, and Jim Spahr, of South Jordan, were among those to ski at Snowbird on the Fourth of July. Due to rapidly melting snowpack on the lower mountain, the skiing and snowboarding was limited to the upper mountain.
Snowbird’s summer activities are now offered daily from 11 a.m. until 8 p.m., and include the Aerial Tram, Woodward WreckTangle, Alpine Slide, a bungee trampoline, a climbing wall, a ropes course, and kids' inflatables.
