OREM — An Orem woman who was charged with drug offenses about a month ago was arrested for similar reasons Wednesday.
Sarah Lindsay Lewis, 29, was booked into the Utah County Jail on Wednesday evening for investigation of possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute, a second-degree felony; endangerment of a child, a third-degree felony; and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.
Investigators with the state Department of Adult Probation and Parole found about 19 grams of methamphetamine in Lewis’s home, Utah County Sheriff’s officials said in an emailed statement. That amount is equivalent to about 190 doses of the drug, officials said.
Law enforcement officials also "found evidence that a child had been in the home and may have been exposed to drugs or drug paraphernalia," the statement said.
Lewis was charged in July with drug distribution, a second-degree felony, and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B misdemeanor.
In 2017, Lewis was convicted of unlawful sexual activity with a minor for having sex with a 17-year-old boy. She formerly was a dance and social studies teacher at Landmark High School in Spanish Fork.
