(KSL News) A man is in serious condition after he lost control of his motorcycle.
Sheriff's deputies say two men were racing in a residential neighborhood near 33rd South. One driver popped a wheelie, lost control of the bike and ran into a street sign.
The driver wasn't wearing a helmet.
Lt. Rod Norton/ Salt Lake County Sheriff's Office: "It goes without explanation. If somebody is not going to wear a helmet and drive a motorcycle, they're putting themselves at great risk."
The driver was flown by medical helicopter to St. Mark's hospital.
