SOUTH SALT LAKE — Police are investigating a shooting at an apartment complex that left one woman in serious condition Sunday evening.
Police received a call shortly before 5 p.m. reporting shots fired near 390 E. 2700 South, said South Salt Lake police spokesman Gary Keller. A 42-year-old white woman inside one of the apartments was struck twice — once in the torso and once in the leg — and was taken to a hospital in serious, but stable condition, Keller said.
No one else was injured in the shooting.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses to determine exactly what happened, Keller said.
