SALT LAKE CITY — Local company Coalatree launched a new Kickstarter to gain traction on its newest creation: the Trailhead Adventure Pant. As of Friday, it had raised almost $60,000.

After seeing unbelievable success in its Kickstarter last year, Coalatree decided to launch a new Kickstarter campaign for 2017.

“The Trailhead pant has been in development for over a year and is ready to be unveiled to the world,” Charlie Bessey, CEO and founder of Coalatree said.

The Trailhead Pant was created to be a dominant product for the brand over many seasons. It has a patent-pending revolutionary fabric, which blends recycled nylon rip-stop, a spandex four-way stretch and dri-fit technology. These materials enable the Trailhead to be the most versatile, durable and waterproof, yet comfortable pant to last through every season, the company boasted in its online campaign.
