(KSL News) Several Salt Lake County families are without a home tonight after a truck slammed into their apartment building.
Witnesses watched as the truck approached the intersection of 3900 South and 700 West. For some reason the truck swerved, drove through a fence and into the bedroom of a basement apartment.
The driver suffered minor injuries. No one else was hurt.
Unified fire brought in beams to support the building, but residents were still forced to leave because the building was declared unsafe.
