Denver is not the only place to catch Barack Obama's acceptance speech. Utah Democrats are banding together to share the memory.
A party at Canyon Rim Park is all about Barack Obama. It includes a big inflatable screen to watch the acceptance speech. And Salt Lake City Mayor Ralph Becker will be at the park addressing the crowd as a warm up.
Attendee Sydney Rhees says this is the beginning of a change in Utah politics.
"You don't go from being the reddest state in the union to being a blue state overnight. But he is the man to make it happen," he said.
Rhees had actually planned an Obama watch party at his house, but his yard couldn't hold the hundreds that wanted to come, so he brought his party over to join the park party.
