CEDAR CITY, Utah (AP) -- Authorities have identified the truck driver who was killed earlier this week after his pickup plunged into Coal Creek.
The accident happened on Monday east of Cedar City.
Troopers say the victim is 70-year-old Stanley Hall Steele Junior of Parowan. Officers say Steele was westbound on State Road 14 when he hit his brakes. The truck then rolled across the highway and fell into the stream.
Steele's body has been sent to the medical examiner's office to determine if a medical problem contributed to the accident.
