(KSL News) South Jordan police are asking for help in catching a would-be truck thief.
Surveillance video shows a man trying to steal a Toyota Tacoma pickup in the middle of the night from the Carmax auto dealership.
The bold suspect tried to drive the pickup off the lot but couldn't get past the security gates. After that, he didn't take the truck but left about $10,000 in damage to the vehicle and security gates.
