OGDEN — Investigators believe the same man is responsible for seven armed robberies of businesses in Salt Lake, Davis and Weber counties over the past month, and police are asking for the public's help identifying him.
The string of robberies began Dec. 9 at a RadioShack on Harrisville Road in Ogden. Weber County Sheriff's Lt. Lane Findlay said the same man robbed a Jamba Juice on Riverdale Road in Riverdale three days later.
The gunman also robbed a Domino's Pizza on 1850 West in Farr West on Dec. 13, a Boost Mobile store on Washington Boulevard in Ogden on Dec. 15, and a Rue 21 store on 1800 North in Clinton, according to Findlay. He is also suspected of robbing a Family Dollar store on 4200 West in Taylorsville Jan. 4, and a Menchie's Frozen Yogurt on Market Place Drive in Centerville on Jan. 7.
Dec. 9th: RadioShack, Ogden
Dec. 12th: Jamba Juice, Riverdale
Dec. 13th: Domino's Pizza, Farr West
Dec. 15th: Boost Mobile, Ogden
Dec. 22nd: Rue 21, Clinton

The robber is described as Hispanic, between 25 and 40 years old, and anywhere from 5 feet 2 inches to 5 feet 6 inches tall. He has a "stocky build," is usually seen wearing blue jeans with a dark hoodie pulled over the top of his head, and uses a mask or T-shirt to hide his face, Findlay said.
A memo from Ogden police to other agencies says the man typically points a gun at victims during the robberies, all of which have occurred between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. The man typically orders his victims to lie down and count to 20 or 25 while he escapes.
"He has made threats of violence, but no shots have been fired in any of the cases," Findlay said Tuesday. "Each time, the suspect has made off with a small amount of cash."
The man's weapon is a silver and black semi-automatic handgun, the lieutenant said. Police believe his vehicle is a dark, older model four-door sedan.
