(KSL News) A bikini ban that annoyed residents and caused nationwide snickers has been lifted in the city of Kanab.
The Salt Lake Tribune reports that last night, the city council voted unanimously to change the swimwear restrictions at the soon-to-open city pool. Two-piece suits will be allowed, but "thong swimwear" will not.
The $2-million pool was built using a recreation tax and user fees and will officially be opened on July 4. However, people could start getting in the water as soon as Monday.
