(KSL Newsradio) A big fire near Escalante is 45 percent contained this morning.
A Bureau of Land Management (BLM) spokesperson says the Corn Creek fire should be fully contained by Saturday night.
The fire has burned more than 2,200 acres of ponderosa pine and pinyon juniper.
A vehicle fire started the blaze on Sunday.
