(KSL News) -- A Virginia man will stand trial for the murder of an LDS missionary.
A grand jury today indicted James Boughton for shooting two Mormon Elders in Chesapeake, Virginia last January. Prosecutors say Boughton shot and killed Morgan Young of Bountiful, Utah, and shot and wounded his missionary companion, Joshua Heidbrink, from Colorado.
Heidbrink testified during today's hearing that he and Young were going door to door when a man ran up and shot them. He saw Young fall.
Boughton's trial is scheduled for October.
