PARK CITY — Professional skier and Park City resident Jamie Crane-Mauzy remains in critical condition after taking a massive spill during the World Tour Finals.

Crane-Mauzy was competing during a run in the superpipe during Saturday's World Skiing Invitational, AFP World Tour Finals in Canada when the accident happened.

Representatives from her management team say she remains in critical condition, in a coma.

Her family says an outpouring of support on Crane-Mauzy's Facebook page is helping and could be what pulls her through.

"I can tell she feels everyone's love, support and energy. It's the positive support giving her strength. It's giving all of us strength," the family said.

They say she's known not only for her skiing abilities but also for her "fearless nature, sharp wit, bubbly personality and adventurous spirit."

Crane-Mauzy made history in 2013 when she was the first woman freeskier to land a double back flip during a competition twice in a single year.
