HOLLYWOOD — There’s something magical about seeing our favorite fairy tales come to life on the big screen, and Disney continues to make all our cinematic dreams comes true with a slew of live-action films.

Disney’s most recent live-action film, “Cinderella,” is just the beginning of the remade fairy tales slated to come out in the next few years, including Monday’s announced “Mulan.”

From "Dumbo" to "Beauty and the Beast," there will be plenty of opportunities to relive your childhood by taking your kids or grandkids to see these upcoming films.

Beauty and the Beast

It’s a tale as old as time, but luckily Emma Watson can pull out the old time turner to take us on a new adventure. Watson will star as Belle in Disney’s live-action version of this beloved story alongside Downton Abbey’s Dan Stevens as The Beast. Directed by Bill Condon, the film is slated to come out March of 2017, according to IMDb.

Leave it to Disney to pull off a live-action film starring elephants. Disney will use a combination of CGI and live action to produce the film, which will also feature a “unique family story that parallels Dumbo's journey,” according to The Hollywood Reporter. A release date has not yet been announced for “Dumbo.”

Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass

This sequel to the live-action “Alice in Wonderland” released in 2010 is slated to hit theaters next year. Mia Wasikowska, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway and Johnny Depp will team up once again for “Alice in Wonderland: Through the Looking Glass,” according to IMDb.

Jungle Book

It should be interesting to see the variety of animals featured in Disney’s live-action version of “The Jungle Book,” which will come out in 2016, according to IMDb. Scarlett Johansson, Bill Murray and Christopher Walken are just a few of cast members who will voice these furry characters. Neel Sethi will play Mowgli.

Disney’s most recently announced live-action film doesn’t have many details yet, but the company recently purchased a script from Elizabeth Martin and Lauren Hynek that focuses on “the Chinese legend of Hua Mulan, the female warrior” who was also portrayed in the animated film, according to The Hollywood Reporter. It is reported that Chris Bender and J.C. Spink will produce the film.
