BOUNTIFUL — An airman from Hill Air Force Base and a woman were killed and two children were injured in single-vehicle rollover accident Saturday morning.

The man, woman and two children were traveling in a Jeep when it rolled on Skyline Drive near the "B" on the hillside around 9:42 a.m., according to Davis County Sheriff's Office Sgt. DeeAnn Servey.

"It's just too early to say exactly where they were, because where the vehicle ended up isn't necessarily where it started," Servey said.

The man and the woman died as a result of their injuries. The children were transported by medical helicopter to Primary Children's Hospital in critical condition. They were later listed in stable condition, according to a press release from Hill.

The man was assigned to the 75th Air Base Wing.

"Our heartfelt condolences go out to the families and friends of this Hill AFB family," said Col. Ron Jolly, 75th Air Base Wing commander. "This is a loss to all of us, and our thoughts are with those grieving during this difficult time."

Servey said the sheriff's office does not expect to release the names of the victims until at least Monday.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
