Randall Jeppesen reportingA Provo couple is arrested after police say they were selling drugs from their home and keeping some of it right in their baby's crib.
Provo police received a tip that a 6-month-old baby might be in danger because of illegal drugs in the home. When they went to the apartment, it didn't take long to find drugs, packaged ready to sell, and more.
"Three firearms were found in the home; one was a .9 mm, and two were .22-caliber. All of them were loaded," said Capt. Cliff Argyle, spokesman for the Provo Police Department.
Argyle says the parents even used the baby's crib to hide drugs. "Methamphetamine in the baby's bassinet," he explained.
Mom, Dad, and another woman living there were arrested. Charges could be enhanced because of the child and because they live near an elementary school.
