IVINS — A toddler died after a pickup truck backed over her Wednesday morning, police confirmed.

Around 10 a.m., the 3-year-old girl was riding a tricycle in front of her home near 1200 South in Ivins when a relative backed a pickup truck out of the driveway and into the girl, Santa Clara - Ivins police Sgt. Chad Holt said.

The girl was transported to Dixie Regional Medical Center, where she succombed to her injuries.
