PROVO — Provo police are now offering a reward for information in connection with a homicide.
Belen Perez, 60, was found dead May 21 in her Provo home. Her son discovered her with a cord around her neck and some kind of strong chemical poured over her body, police said. Autopsy reports determined Perez died of strangulation, and Provo police are investigating the death as a homicide.
Provo police are now offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect responsible for the death.
Anyone with information can contact the Provo Police Department’s tip hotline at 801-852-7400.
