ROY — The 23-year-old victim of a shooting in Roy died Sunday morning and police have identified a suspect, officials say.
Just after midnight Sunday, officers received a call about a party disturbance and a gunshot at about 2950 W. 4650 South.
There, they found a man shot. The victim received emergency medical care, but was pronounced dead at an area hospital. Police have not released the man's name.
Bryce Weir, spokesperson for Roy police, said Ruben Alvarado Nava III is a suspect in the case.
Efforts have been ongoing to locate him. He is currently considered armed and dangerous.

Any information about his whereabouts should be reported to the Roy police department at 801-629-8221.
Weir said several local agencies, South Ogden City, Riverdale Police Department and Weber County Sheriff's department, responded to help secure the area and begin the investigation.
