SALT LAKE CITY — Summer is in full swing now. If you are planning a family road trip with the kids and are wondering how to fill the long hours and keep everyone entertained, there’s an easy solution.

Audiobooks and iBooks offer fun, engaging entertainment along with the imagination-stimulating benefits of reading. Mom and dad will also enjoy listening to these classic stories brought to life by talented, award-winning narrators.

Audiobooks can be purchased as CDs for around $20-$30. You can also go the cheaper route of MP3s from services like Amazon’s Audible for around $1-$15. The iPad books can be downloaded from Apple's App Store for around $0-$8.
