(KSL News) The search for a West Valley City teenager whose car was abandoned in southwestern Wyoming was called off today.
Diego Acevedo, 18, left his home more than a week ago. His car was found near the small town of Granger, just north of I-80 near Little America.
Searchers using ATV's, dogs and an airplane scoured a 25- square mile area this weekend. The Sweetwater County sheriff believes Acevedo is no longer in the area.
The sheriff said there was no evidence that a crime was committed in Acevedo's car or in the immediate area.
