(KSL News) AAA Utah reports Utah is one of only 11 states to see gas prices going up instead of down.

Oil has dropped $10 a barrel, but Utah's average price for a gallon of gas went up 3 cents last month.

Right now a gallon of regular, self-serve in Utah is $3.07 a gallon. This is 3 cents higher than the average in last month, and 79 cents higher than a year ago.

According to AAA Utah, 13 states have prices higher than Utah.

The national average price is $3 a gallon.
