SPRINGVILLE — A small child is dead after police say he accidentally shot himself.
In a press release, Springville Police Lt. Dave Caron said emergency responders were called to a home Tuesday on a report of an accidental shooting. The location of the home was not given.
When they arrived, paramedics found the child deceased from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
The Utah County Attorney's Office was notified, and officials there are now investigating the incident.
