(KSL News) The Salt Lake County Sheriff's office is putting together a new team that is specially trained on child abductions.

The Child Abduction Response Team, or CART, includes deputies from various units.

The Deseret Morning News reports team members are trained on the proper way to canvass a neighborhood as well as more efficient ways to track and investigate leads.

A few other Utah law agencies have CART teams, and officials hope more will be formed.
