(KSL News) Police in Centerville caught a man who aimed a firearm at the freeway. A jogger spotted the man in a park pointing a gun out his window toward I-15.
Police showed up and found the man with a pellet gun and a scope. They took him into custody.
The man said he was having problems with the pellet gun shooting. "It appears that this is just a real poor case of using bad judgment. He was pointing it out the window towards the road, but he wasn't shooting at the road. He was aiming a little lower than that," Centerville Police Lt. Paul Child explained.
Police said he will be charged with a misdemeanor.
