SALT LAKE CITY -- With Valentine's Day close at hand, couples and singles alike may want to curl up with a popular love story movie. Here are five suggestions that might fill your list around the day of love.

"Breakfast at Tiffany's"

It would remiss to not include "Breakfast at Tiffany's" on a list of good love films. The big-screen adaptation of Truman Capote's famed novel is a jewel in not only the love story category, but in film history as well.

The movie is filled with sweet moments between the tension of the would-be lovers to their dramatic ups and downs. Audrey Hepburn is probably best thought of and remembered for this role. She defined this kind of character so perfectly. Her charm and style launch the film to beloved status.

Will Smith and Kevin James, "Hitch"

The final scene may be one of the most-loved film conclusions. When Holly Golightly frantically runs to the man she finally realizes she loves and their passionately kissing in the rain with no umbrella is a truly great ending for a classic love story.

"Hitch"

The fun, upbeat "Hitch" is a film both genders can enjoy. Will Smith delivers a comical yet cool leading man. Things get hilarious as he attempts to make the asthma-inhaler-obsessed underdog get the dream girl who is clearly out of his league.

Best loved parts of "Hitch" include the swollen face of Will Smith's character after an allergic reaction as well as the dancing lesson scene with the dorky supporting actor.

Through it all, the dating master becomes the student in this funny situation- switch movie.

"When Harry Met Sally"

When "Harry Met Sally" seems to be the beginning of the type of romcoms we still are watching today. But is the humor of the love story between the Billy Crystal and Meg Ryan characters that bring hilarity to the film as well as the actors' dynamite chemistry.

Generally favored scenes and lines include a discussion about high-maintenance women:

"You're the worst kind. You think you're low-maintenance, but you're actually high-maintenance."

John Cusack, "Say Anything"

Other great portions include the first banter of the two characters while traveling to New York, arguing about dwelling on death, the still-referenced conversation about men and women being friends and the most memorable scene of all that ends with:

"I'll have what she's having."

"Say Anything"

"Say Anything" is one of the great adolescent love stories. The movie is absolutely filled with sweetness and can even make one inadvertently sigh in a cheesy way.

Of course, no scene can compare to the declaration of young love that is a boom box lifted over the head. Doing so has become a regularly understood declaration of love due to this movie.

"Annie Hall"

"Annie Hall" is the Oscar-winning love story of two actors who fell in love off-screen. The script is filled with quirky conversations, from Brooklyn Jewish peculiarities to dating. The characters endear themselves to the audience through their odd, pseudointellectual thoughts.

Ultimately, the Woody Allen-Diane Keaton combination is a standard example of on-screen chemistry that is fondly remembered by many.

Often pegged as one of the "smart" romcoms, "Annie Hall" is a classic.
