(KSL News) -- Law enforcement officers have now found a sex offender who walked away from a halfway house.
Offices took Kirby Vaughn into custody last night during a raid at a Midvale apartment building. Vaughn disappeared over the weekend from the Freemont Community Correctional Center, where he was part of a sex offender treatment program.
He is now back at the Utah State prision.
Officers also arrested two other fugitives with Vaughn.
