(KSL News) The Uintah County Sheriff's Department is investigating the death of a one-year-old Ballard girl.
Jakoya Kelly Kimball died at her home two weeks ago. Her mother's boyfriend brought her to the emergency room, unconscious, with a tiny bump on her head.
The boyfriend said Jakoya fell from her high chair and landed on her head, but investigators aren't sure that's the real story.
An autopsy was performed, but police aren't discussing the results.
