(KSL News) A woman was hit by a car near Benjamin as she was trying to pick clothes up off the freeway.
She and two other people were driving on I-15 when they saw the items in the HOV lane. They stopped, and as the woman was cleaning up the road, another car driving in the lane slammed into her.
The driver says she tried to swerve, but the woman ran in the same direction as the car.
The injured woman was flown to the hospital in critical condition.
