OREM, Utah (AP) -- Authorities are warning Utah residents about buying puppies from cardboard boxes.
Officers say they've received several calls about men selling Mexican Chihuahua puppies in parking lots outside some Orem businesses.
Police say the men are charging between four-hundred and six-hundred dollars per puppy. However, they have no guarantees as to the health of the animal.
The men are NOT associated with the stores and are usually asked to leave.
